Obituary of William F Weimer
Weimer, William 92, of Lions Head South, Brick died on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Atrium surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Jersey City and lived in Secaucus prior to moving to Brick 32 years ago. He served his country with honor as a Corporal, 69th Infantry Division, nicknamed the "fighting 69th," 272 Infantry Regiment, The Battle Axe Regiment of the United States Army during World War II. He owned and operated a HVAC & Refrigeration business in Jersey City for over 4 decades before retiring to Lions Head South Section of Brick; enjoying many days playing golf. He was also a member of Visitation R.C. Church in Brick. He is survived by his children: William F. Weimer, Jane Varcadipane and her husband Joseph, Thomas Weimer and his wife Anne and Judith Bassford and her husband Keith. Grandchildren, Amy Weimer and her husband Tim DePack and Billy Weimer and his wife Kerry, Joseph Varcadipane and his wife Natalie and Jeffrey Varcadipane and his wife Dawn, Jessica Varcadipane and her husband Capt. Chris Larsen, Sarah, Emily and Rebecca Weimer and Samantha and Keith Bassford as well as seven beautiful great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Robert Weimer and his wife Terry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Philip the Apostle Church, Clifton at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
