Riffel, Francis H. age 84 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on June 18, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Riffel (2002). Loving father of Theresa Johnson and her husband Dave of Wayne, Francine McCarthy and Bob of Vernon, Dianna Todd and Frank of Lexington, NY, and Richard Riffel of Newton. Loving grandfather of Dennis Johnson, Tara Johnson, Patrick, Nessa, George McCarthy, Joseph McCarthy, Megan Todd, Kyle Todd, and Robert, Ryan, Daniel, and Erin. Adoring great-grandfather of Brianna, Timothy, Ashlyn, R.J., Cameron, Julia, and John. Born in Suffern, NY, he lived in Paterson for most of his life before moving to Hamburg. He was a chemical operator for Givaudan, East Hanover for 16 years, as well as Richardson Chemical, Paterson before retiring in 2002. Mr. Riffel enjoyed gardening and was an avid Yankee fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
