Obituary of Deborah Ann Sheehan

Sheehan, Deborah Ann, 65 of Bradley Beach, NJ, formerly of Totowa Boro passed away suddenly on Sunday June 17, 2018 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. She was the daughter on the late John and Ruth Sheehan. She is survived by her husband Emidio Quattrocchi and her beloved daughter Deirdre Quattrocchi, who is deaf. In addition, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Michael and Claire Sheehan. She was a graduate of William Paterson University. She was a member of the Learning Theater, a children's theater company for 15 years. As Director of News and Community Affairs at WPAT 93 AM & FM, Debbie covered the Democratic and Republican conventions in 1984, 1988 and 1992. She continued as director until the station was sold. She then assumed the responsibilities of assistant editor for Fort Monmouth's newspaper until the Fort's closure in 2011. Debbie was also involved in the Neptune Township Education Foundation and also Zonta International. Debbie enjoyed traveling, visiting such far off places including Japan and New Zealand. She also loved to visit Ireland and England. She enjoyed the company of her friends Ken and Val Knight and Edward and Anne Lloyd-Jones. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 2- 4 and 7- 9 PM and Friday 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rescue Ridge, PO Box 223 Spring Lake, NJ 07762.
