DeSalvo, Phyllis (nee Settanni), age 96 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on June 16, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Joseph DeSalvo (1988). Loving Mother of Patricia Prosperi and her husband William of Totowa and Joseph DeSalvo of Edgewater. Dear grandmother of Jodi Lejuez and her husband Ray of Cedar Grove, Billy Prosperi and his wife Michelle of Totowa and Michael Prosperi and his wife Carla of Woodland Park. Adoring great grandmother of Joey, Julia, Michael, Alexa and Dominic. Sister of the late Stephen Settanni (1999). Born in Bari, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1929 settling in Queens, N.Y. then in North Bergen before moving to Totowa twenty five years ago. She was an Employee for the Totowa Italian Bakery, Totowa for many years before retiring in 1997. Mrs. DeSalvo was a Parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. She was a member of the Totowa Happy Seniors. She was a great cook. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, playing the lottery and trips to Atlantic City. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday from 8:00-9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. James R.C.
