Obituary of Edelvais De Vito

De Vito, Edelvais (nee Di Matteo), "Zia" age 84 of Marlton, formerly of Paterson and Totowa, at rest in Marlton on May 25, 2018. Beloved wife of twenty six years of the late Julius Giacomo De Vito (1993). Loving mother of Christine A. Miller and her husband David of Marlton and Peter De Vito of San Diego, CA. Dear grandmother of Gabrielle Miller and Nicholas Miller. Sister of Idario Di Matteo and his wife Margaret of Totowa and Iolanda Di Loreto of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Born in Molina, Prov. di Aquila, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1966 settling in Totowa then Paterson before moving to Marlton fifteen years ago. She was a Clerk for Brooks Bros., Paterson for many years before retiring in 2002. Mrs. De Vito was an avid vegetable and floral gardener. She was a great cook as well as a baker of Italian treats. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and family and loved to feed them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX. 75231 would be appreciated.
