Tarsia, Leda (nee Gigante), age 105 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on May 16, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Tarsia.  Loving mother of Nicholas Tarsia and his wife Heather.  Dear sister of Evelyn Zaneski, Clara Muccio, and Bruno Gigante.  Grandmother of Thomas Tarsia and his wife Jennifer, Tara Buscema and her husband Salvatore, Michael Tarsia and Leah Tarsia.  Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.  Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident of Garfield.  She owned and operated a grocery store in Garfield and was a counselor at Bergen County CETA, Garfield.  Mrs. Tarsia was also a county committeewoman in Bergen County.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 12:00 PM.  Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.  Friends may visit Wednesday 10 AM -12 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
