Bonsey, Jean M. (nee Hartmann) age 91 of Wayne, formerly of  Totowa and Paterson, at rest in Wayne on May 16, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late John H. Bonsey (2011).  Loving Mother of Linda J. Atkinson and her husband James of Cape Coral, FL. and Ret. Passaic County Sherriff  Lieutenant Robert Bonsey and his wife Marion of Tampa, FL.  Dear grandmother of Renee Carter, Lauren Harmel, Ryan Atkinson, David Bonsey, Cheryl Bonsey and the late Brian Bonsey. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Haledon, she lived in Paterson most of her life before moving to Totowa.  She was a Medical Secretary and Nurse for Dr. Desmet, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1989.  Mrs. Bonsey cherished time spent with her grandchildren.  She was a great cook.  She enjoyed New York State and Atlantic City.  She spent time helping others and driving people in need.  Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to St. Judes Children's Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 would be appreciated.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, N.J. 07512.
