Obituary of Anna Gloriande

Gloriande, Anna, affectionately known as "Auntie Annie", age 96 passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Paterson. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and grand nephews. Anna was employed at the Social Security Administration in Paterson for 33 years prior to retirement. She was a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) having held offices at the Chapter level and appointed Public Relations Director of the State Federation. She attended five National Conventions, and was appointed to serve on several committees. She was the Commissioner of the Paterson Council on Aging, having served as President and Treasurer, as well as President of the former Garden State Chapter of the Social Security Alumni Association. Anna was a parishioner of St. Brendan R.C. Church, Clifton. Funeral services will be held at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a mass at St. Brendan R.C. Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Brendan R.C. Church, 154 East 1st Street, Clifton, N.J. 07011.
