Uncle Gary, it's hard to see your contagious smile in this picture without hearing your voice or laugh in my head. It's also hard to believe photos will be the only time I can see that smile again. I'm so grateful for the memories. You are so loved and terribly missed. We love you

Sandy, I am so truly sorry for your loss of Gary. May you and your children find the strength and comfort to get through this difficult time. Unfortunately we don't know why God takes our loved ones too soon. But we have to have faith and believe that He knows why and trust Him. Sending my deepest condolences to you and your family. Angie, Sandy, Karen, Dana, and Gary,
I am so Sorry for the loss. It is not easy to lose a Loved One, so Young and Unexpectedly like this.
I knew your whole Family for Years, going to school with Gary in the 70's and 80's. His High School Year Book Photo will always be remembered as "Priceless"!
To moving in next door to your Moms house in the 90's and getting to know your Son and Daughter as they grew up to become responsible Adults. Your Father will always be Proud of both of you!
Sandy, Remember what I told you, if you need anything,Don't hesitate to ask!
My Heart and Prayers goes out to All of You now in your time of Sorrow. Although it Hurts now, In time, the Memory of Gary will Comfort you.
Know now that Gary is in the Embrace of Our Lord, in the Kingdom of Heaven. He is Bathed in Eternal Light of God, Where Pain is Felt no longer, but all Our Pain is Healed.
Ride Easy, My Friend...

GARY, I am so at a loss for words I can’t even believe it..I can’t believe your not going to be here anymore. I don’t know why god would take you from us so soon.. I don’t even know how I’m feeling about this whole god and heaven thing because I just don’t understand how god would allow your mom to lose a 3rd child, or why he would take you before you got to see your children get married, or to expiereince becoming a grandfather...my question is why god ? I still pray to him though because I want to believe he is there and that you will be with him in his big beautiful heaven with your Dad, Kenny and Marie and all the others who left us too soon.. and that you will be looking down on us watching us and protecting our children the way you always have. Speaking of that you were the best dad ever.. you were such a hands on dad. Always wanting to help me with everything when they were born it was like you didn’t want to miss a thing... if I went to change them you were right there helping, bathtime you were right there helping me, playtime, baby Pool time any time..you were there. And if not you were working providing for our family... during snowstorms you would work around the clock for days sometimes... oh how we missed you then & that was only a few days...what are we going to do now ? I just want you to know Gary, I Love you so much and always appreciated everything you did to make our lives special... all the places we used to go, you took me and the kids everywhere, camping, hiking, boating, fishing, down the shore, apple picking, pumpkin picking, vacationing, lake George Florida Mexico..and then when the kids got older we had our trips that you always took me for my birthday ( Vegas, niagra falls, Jamaica, fort Meyers, Aruba, Bahamas ) dinners out every weekend, our first date at Segovia’s , and then you just kept spoiling me with dinners out, out with our friends, concerts..so many to mention. We had so many countless great times I can keep going and going.....I will ALWAYS ALWAYS have you in my heart and soul and on my mind, replaying our life together over and over like I’ve been doing since you left... I Love you so much, my heart is hurting so bad right now.. but when I think of all these times it helps my heart feel good. Rest Easy my baby I hope you are on a fluffy pillow in Heaven, if so I will be meeting you there someday soon. I Love You

Dear Sandra,
I spoke briefly with your daughter this morning and heard the sad and unexpected news. You and Gary were people who really impressed me as good and genuine people, very committed to each other and unfortunately going through difficult circumstances of life and health. Gary clearly loved life, and his family. I'm glad to have met him, but sorry that he passed away before his time. Thank you for allowing me to get to know you and Gary.
Sincerely,
Larry Deutsch

I've worked with Gary for many years on the Turnpike. I remember I was a new Maintenance Employee plowing snow and ran out of fuel on the roadway. Gary had to get me running again laying in the slush and snow. I felt horrible. He never got upset but every snow storm after that He'd remind...."make sure to fuel your truck, I'm not saving your Butt again." lol
Prayers up to His Family and Friends! My Condolences...He Will Be Missed!!

I am so very sorry to read of your family’s loss. It is lovingly apparent that Mr. Cittrich was loved, very much. During tragic times like this, I like to reflect on 1 Cor. 15:25, which tells us how God feels . . . about death. There we read: “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” This helps us to see that death is not a part of life, because here God refers to it as our ‘enemy.’ As a result, at Acts 24:15, God promises there will be a resurrection, of our loved ones who’ve fallen asleep in death—back to life—on a paradise earth. I sincerely hope these scriptures help to comfort your family as they have mine, and if you'd like to read the Bible online, or learn more about God's promises for our loved ones who've fallen asleep in death, please feel free to visit JW. org. To the Cittrich family. I’m so sorry to read of the passing of your beloved Gary. May the scriptural promise of our Lord Jesus about the resurrection comfort you during this time of great sorrow. When Jesus was on the earth he demonstrated his ability to resurrect those that had fallen asleep in death. He will do so again for he said that “they will hear his voice and come out...” - John 5:28,29. Do not despair, because we could look forward to seeing our loved ones again, “for it is impossible for God to lie” - Hebrews 6:18; Revelation 21:4
