Obituary of Robert J Wegner Jr.

Wegner, Robert J. Jr., age 76 of Morris Township at rest in Morris Township on March 31, 2018. Dear husband of Carol Lyn (nee Harney) Wegner of Morris Township. Loving father of Alexandra Malick and her husband Zuri and Michael J. Wegner. Adoring grandfather of Olivia Grace Malick. Dear uncle of Suzanne Kurten, Kelly St. Germain, Mackenzie Kurten, and Spencer Kurten. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then in Maplewood, before moving to Morris Township. He was an attorney for Wegner, Wegner, & Ward, Totowa, for 51 years. Mr. Wegner was a former board member of the 200 Club. He was the founding member of the Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. New Jersey Workers Compensation American Inn of Court 1994, having received it on May 7, 2002. He was a member of the Honor Legion, May 2003. He was a graduate of Seton Hall Law School, and was admitted to the Supreme Court April 14, 1975 and he passed the NJ State Bar on May 3, 1967. He was also a Silver Card Holder Life Member of PBA Local 1 and he was an Honored Citizen with the NJ Police Honor Legion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 3:00 - 8:00 PM.
