Obituary of Julie Cafiero

Cafiero, Julie, age 72, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2018. She was born and raised in Paterson, NJ and later residing in Riverdale, NJ. Loving mother of Frank Joseph Cafiero and his wife Kathy of Kinnelon, and Mark Cafiero and his wife Rosemary also of Kinnelon. Adoring grandmother of Victoria, Anthony, Lauren, and Michael. Dear sister of the late Mary Gatti. Julie lived her life committed to being there for her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Julie constantly put others before herself. She dedicated 35 years of her life to Radiology Associates, where coworkers grew to be family. Julie had a special way of leaving an impact on each individual she came across in her life. Julie enjoyed reading, vacationing with family and her trips to Atlantic City. She had a love for animals, especially cats. Selflessly donating each month to the humane society to help animals in need. Her jokes, smile, and laugh will never be forgotton. Julie did not want us to mourn, but to plan a party instead. Please join us in celebrating Julie's life on Sunday March 25th from 12 - 4 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. We know everyone shared many laughs with Julie so we ask if everyone can please think of their favorite memory of her. We will have a “memory jar” at the service for you to place that memory into.
