Piccolo, Ralph L. age 92 of Paterson on March 15, 2018. Beloved husband of 37 years to the former Madeline Kirnan. Loving father of Annette of NY, and Avis, Sandra, Tammy, Anthony, John, Jimmy and Randy all of Paterson. Brother of Angie Bruno and Dolly De Leonardo, both of NY. Grandfather of Johnny, Billy, Anthony, Nicholas, Katie, Briana, Jaime, Ralphie, Maria, Alayjah, Ariana, and Ava. Great Grandfather of Anthony, Bella, Johnny Jr., and Baby B. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Yonkers, NY he lived in Paterson since 1956. He was the owner/proprietor of Ralph Piccolos Pizzeria, Paterson for 60 years before retiring in 2014. Mr. Piccolo was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Paterson. He fed everyone who walked into the pizzeria whether they had money or not. His business was open to his customers at all hours where anyone could feel at home. The pizzeria was featured in the Sopranos series as Oofah's Pizzeria. He was a WW II Army veteran. He loved to play cards and was an avid Yankee fan and Chicago Bears fan in memory of his nephew, Brian Piccolo. In his 20's and 30's he heavily donated his time and money to the Church of the Most Precious Blood, NY, NY. He enjoyed Little Italy in NYC and visiting Atlantic City. He had a huge heart and was a stand-up guy and would help anyone in need. He was the last of the real ones. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Cremation at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may visit Sunday 4-8 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
