Scalzitti, Sr. Anthony John, age 70 of Haledon at rest in Wayne on January 31, 2018. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Richards) Scalzitti. Loving father of Angela Marie Scalzitti and her companion Daniel Rourke, Paul Scalzitti and his wife Jennie and the late Anthony J. Scalzitti, Jr. (2005). Dear brother of John Scalzitti and his wife Janet and Jane Scalzitti. Grandfather of Michael James Scalzitti, Ashley VanVelkinberg and Brittany VanVelkinbergh. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life, before moving to Haledon ten years ago. He was a Trucker for local #560 and #701 for thirty eight years before retiring. He was a proud member of the Teamsters. He also worked for the Passaic County Para Transit for ten years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
