Rizzo, Yolanda E. "Lonnie" (nee Sarcone) age 88 of Bloomfield at rest in New York City on January 12, 2018. Beloved wife of sixty five years of Thomas Rizzo Jr. of Bloomfield. Loving Mother of Patricia A. Krapels and her husband Glenn of Woodland Park and Thomas J. Rizzo of Sussex. Dear grandmother of Ashley L. Krapels, Trevor S. Krapels and Blake T. Krapels, all of Woodland Park, Nicole De Luca of Netcong and Wesley Rizzo of Colorado. Great grandmother of Strummer, Presley and Marley De Luca. Sister of Frances Sarcone of Bloomfield and Susan Danduone of New Providence. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and her beloved pet dog Harlee. Born in Belleville, she lived in Bloomfield for most of her life. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Rizzo was a lifelong parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, Bloomfield and helped with administrative work. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Mc Cormick Council #3880 Ladies Auxilliary. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens. She was a great cook and she enjoyed her Jersey Shore home with her husband and family. Lonnie cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, Bloomfield at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery Mausoleum, Bloomfield. Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
