MOM, We've known each other for over 30 years. My memories of you will always be of your kindness to my son, Joseph -- your grandchild and the child of your son, Bob. Your love, generosity, and unwavering support sustained Bob and me through many, many difficult days and nights. I will always remember your calming voice as you sang lullabies to our child and know that you will always watch over Joseph as his Guardian Angel in Heaven.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of Carrie to her family and friends. Carrie was a wonderful woman and a dear friend of my late mother Theresa Palumbo. Although I only truly got to know Carrie after my Mom became ill, I was inspired by her kindness and dedication to her family and friends. Knowing that she was gravely ill herself, Carrie not only provided support and encouragement to my Mom, but to our entire family. Thank You Carrie, you will remain in my heart forever. Carrie was a very dynamic, positive and loving woman. I am so thankful for her friendship (sistership) with my mom Terry Palumbo. I can honestly say that they both were amazing women and I take with me in my heart many life lessons and morsels of "wisdom" that they have imparted. Carrie will always bring a smile to my face and strength to my soul by her example of standing up and not only living life, but truly and meaningfully enjoying life, in the face of adversity. I only met Carrie 2 years ago but I came to feel like I'd known her all my life. She was an inspiration in her courage and compassion. I will miss her greatly but she knew she was loved and is at peace. Thank you, Carrie, for being my friend. Love, Barbs

I will always remember Carrie for the kindness she showed to me when I first started teaching at St. Mary's School. Her advice was always right on target, whether it was about school or more personal matters. Carrie always seemed to me to be a perfect example of what a Catholic teacher should be. Carrie, you set an example for me with the courage that you had to face the most difficult times.Having known you since 1975 has made me realize that despite adversity, one can rise above it and do for others. You were and are a shining example of the best a person can be. Mrs. Titus was my 4th Grade teacher at St Mary’s so many years ago. I struggled upon a mid year new student transfer the year before. Mrs. Titus was the only teacher to see let me know she saw some worth in me. I’ll never forget my surprise when she entered a story of mine in a writing contest and read it to the class. I’ve been writing ever since. She will always be my favorite teacher. I wanted to share my story with her family.
