Obituary of Carmella M Longo

Longo, Carmella M (nee Cascone), age 92 of West Paterson at rest in West Paterson on December 23, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Pete Longo Sr. (2011). Loving mother of Pete Longo Jr. and Constance Papandrew of West Paterson, and Karen Federico and her husband Greg of Lawrenceville. Adoring grandmother of Peter J. Longo and Christina Yoder of West Paterson. Dear daughter of the late Giuseppe "Joe" and the late Margherita (nee Siciliano) Cascone. Sister of the late Mary, Frances, Sadie, Josephine, Emanuel "Mike", and Carlo. Carmella is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for 40 years, before moving to West Paterson 50 years ago. She was a sewing machine operator for Joe-El's Sportswear, Paterson, for 16 years. She also worked for Louis Stein for 5 years before that. Mrs. Longo bowled in multiple leagues and was very proud of her trophy for bowling a 200. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
