Obituary of Gerardo Pallotta

Pallotta, Gerardo "Gino" age 88 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 28, 2017. Beloved husband of sixty eight years of the former Grazia Vero of Paterson. Loving Father of Linda C. Diaz and her husband Mike of Cedar Grove. Dear grandfather of Michael and Cooper Diaz. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Bernalda, Prov. di Matera, Italy, he came to the U.S.A. in 1955 settling in Paterson. He was a Barber and owner of Gino's Place, Elmwood Park, for over thirty years before retiring in 2007. Mr. Pallotta was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. He was a musician who played several instruments by ear, including the guitar, mandolin, accordion, violin and drums. Gino enjoyed playing cards with his family. He cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren. He loved the Jersey shore and enjoyed his home in Bradley Beach. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:45 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
