Carnevale, Frances (nee White), age 94 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 24, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Carnevale (1989).  Loving mother of Daniel Carnevale and wife Jacki of Tucson, AZ, Kathleen Stella and husband Frank of Rutherford, Joyce Savastano and husband David of Totowa, Gary Carnevale and wife Mary of Rutherford, and Susan Carnevale and husband Jeffrey Hubbard of Baltimore, MD. Adoring grandmother of Diane Vail, Jeff Callahan, Gregory Stella, Brian Callahan, Mathew Stella, Frank Carnevale, Zach Hubbard and loving great grandmother to 9 great-grandchildren as well as special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Survived by dear sister Adele MacLeod, brother Rudy White and wife Mary Lou, brother-in-law Raymond Nyhuis, sisters-in-law Ruth White and Marie Carnevale Rymer. Predeceased by siblings Edward White, Raymond White, Alice Coursen and husband Alfred, Louis White and wife Irene, Wanda Nyhuis, and brothers-in-law Roger MacLeod and Joseph Rymer. Born in Butler, she graduated from Butler High School and served the war effort by working as a “Rosie the Riveter” at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.  She settled in Paterson with her husband Frank in 1946.  She was employed as a dental assistant, and worked for St Mary’s in food service before retiring in the 1970’s. Frances was a member of St. Mary Rosary Society and the Secular Franciscan Group at St. Bonaventure Church and a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson. Frances was a woman of great faith and spirituality who gave freely of her time and talents to support the church. She will be remembered by many wonderful friends who worked with her.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Bonaventure RC Church, Paterson, on Friday at 10:15 AM.  Interment of cremains to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In her memory, donations to Little Sisters of the Poor, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ 07512 would be appreciated.
