Funicelli, Leona (nee Falvo), age 82 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 19, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Funicelli (1997). Loving mother of Roseanne Funicelli of Manasquan, James Funicelli and his wife Carol of Toms River, Joseph Funicelli, Jr. and his wife Megan of Totowa and Frank A. Funicelli of Paterson. Dear grandmother of Nicole, James, Anthony, Joseph, Frankee Marie, Isabella, and Viviana Funicelli. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. She was an Executive Assistant for Dr. Morton Kass, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1997. She enjoyed travelling, and she was a great cook. She cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment at to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
