Obituary of Shirley Aquino

Aquino, Shirley, passed away on October 25, 2017, in Warrington, Pennsylvania, at her residence, Neshaminy Manor. She was ninety-five years old, and had been a lifelong resident of Paterson, New Jersey until she moved to Pennsylvania in 2011. Shirley was born on June 6, 1922 to Thomas and Lena Diello. She is survived by her loving son, Thomas (Ann); and, five loving grandchildren: Thomas (Melissa), Paul (Lorraine), Susan, Steven (Laura), and Valerie (Greg). Shirley is the proud great grandmother of Morgan, Sophia, Dante, and Gyanna. As the "baby" of the Diello family, Shirley was predeceased by her parents and seven sisters and four brothers. As well, she is survived by many loving nieces and nephews on both the Aquino and Diello sides of the family. Shirley's life revolved around her family – both close and extended members. She cherished the memories of family gatherings and events: and she shared those memories very proudly with her friends. The staff and residents at Neshaminy Manor spoke of her "life stories" frequently and always looked forward to hearing them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM.
