Dave, you've been a very special friend for 40+ years. You left us far too soon, but we know it's not the number of years in your life, but the life in your years. No one packed more life into their years than you. You've been an inspiration to all who know you - those in your community, your profession, your friends and your colleagues. It's hard for me to fathom that I'll not see you again bouncing thru the door with your endearing smile. We will meet again. My deepest condolences to your Dad and to Erica & Dana, whom you always poke of so lovingly. Rest in peace, Dave.

He was without a doubt my favorite professor and I was fortunate to have him at Seton Hall. He was a professor who taught from the heart and was always very enthusiastic and passionate about his subject. I have many fond memories of my time spent in his class.
May he rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Dave was a one of a kind guy. I worked with him at Chilton for many years. He was a strong advocate for colleagues and patients You could always count on him for support and great advice. He was the one you went to with issues. He was funny and honest and lived life to its fullest. He left us much too early. At my retirement he gave me a defibrillator which I carry in my car wherever I go. I will always think of him and will miss him But now we have a special guardian angel up there to look over us. My deepest sympathy to his dad and nieces and the rest of his family Rest in peace Dave .

I worked with your Uncle/Son at Millennium Respiratory Services. He was so admired and respected by all who knew him. He was so proud of his family and spoke of all of you. He was the definition of a life well lived, that's all we can ask for. He loved his concerts, Las Vegas, traveling, etc. We can call argue he was taken from us way too early. But none of us can argue he did not enjoy every moment God gave him on this planet. May we all be so lucky to live a life where are so loved and respected. Rest in peace Dave. Your life made a difference.

Dave was my adjunct professor at SHU in 2014. He was one of the professors that a couple of my classmates and I really enjoyed learning from and remained in touch with him even after we had graduated. I am heartbroken to hear the sad news about Dave. My love and prayers to the family. May his memory be eternal.

I'm sorry I can't be there in person to give my condolences to an excellent professional whose excellence was only exceeded by the Person Dave was. Loved by all, a friend to many,a trusted colleague, good natured, fun loving, caring and someone who could always be counted on if an emergency ever arose or just to help out a friend in need. As President and CEO of Chilton for many years I remember when Dave first started at the Hospital. The department was called Respiratory Therapy and it was the most fun loving together department in the hospital. Dave had a lot to do with that. Dave's obit reads that he was Executive Director. His title was a little different, however, he was there day and night an functioned as the Executive Director while she spent a great deal of time out of the hospital. He was the glue that kept the hospital together. A true gentleman who made everyone and everything better around him.. He will be sorely missed. His friend and colleague... I am saddened by the passing of a great friend. I was privileged to know Dave for over 30 years as he was a customer, friend and colleague over that period of time. I had a great amount of respect for Dave and am happy that I got a chance to see him about a month ago. Unfortunately I'll be out of town this coming week, but would like to start some kind of scholarship or testimonial to Dave who was a credit to our Respiratory family!
Most Sincerely,
Al Antebi

Installation dinners , wet downs, parties, NYC, Les Miserables 3 times, leaving in the middle of Fiddler On The Roof so you could get to a political event.. Lots of laughs and good memories. Singing Bye Bye Miss American Pie over and over again.. Always there when I needed help with my mom..you have touched so many lives, and our hearts..the world was a better place with you in it, and now a little sadder without you ..may you rest in the sweetest peace my friend .. I don't know how to say goodbye to you.. So I will just say, see ya my friend ..Until we meet again..
