Obituary of Mario P. Pelligra

Pelligra, Mario P. age 33 of Montville at rest in Somerst on September 4, 2017. Beloved son of Giovanni and Rose (nee Giglio) Pelligra of Montville. Loving brother of Jacqueline Pelligra and her fiancée Jason Rodrigues of Montville. Dear nephew of Anna Pelligra and her husband Sal of Hawthorne and Palmina Carfi and her husband Michele of Elmwood Park. Also surviving are several cousins in the U.S.A. and in Sicily. Born in Ridgewood, he lived in Montville for most of his life. He was an Auto Technician and Assistant Manager for Jiffy Lube, Morris Plains, for several years. Mr. Pelligra was a Parishioner of St. Michael's R.C. Church, Paterson. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan as well as the Napoli team in World Soccer. He played soccer for the Metro Stars while he was in high school. He was an A-1 Master Mechanic and enjoyed working on and repairing cars. He liked BMW cars, motorcycles, quads and merchandise. He enjoyed traveling to Sicily and had an ambition to live there. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Michael's R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Relatives and friends may visit Thursday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Michael's R.C.
