Obituary of Mary Kishko

Kishko, Mary (nee Ferrara), age 84 of Lincoln Park at rest in Pequannock Twsp. on September 2, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Louis Kishko (1988). Loving Mother of Lisa C. Kishko of Lincoln Park, Ronald G. Kishko and his wife Renee of Lincoln Park and Marc L. Kishko of Lincoln Park. Daughter of the late Teodosio and Christina (nee Carozzo) Ferrara. Dear grandmother of Louis J. Kishko. Sister of Josephine Falzarano of West Milford. Also surviving are many cherished nieces and nephews and her two beloved grand dogs, Friday and Harlee. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Lincoln Park six years ago. She was a Cashier for the Paterson Board of Education at John F. Kennedy High School Cafeteria for twenty five years before retiring in 2009. Mary was a devout Catholic. She gave to many charities including St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the American Cancer Society and Veterans organizations. Mary was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lincoln Park. She was an avid conservative and was politically active. She was Frank Sinatra's biggest fan. Mary was a fantastic cook. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Mount Airy Lodge. She gathered with her friends every day and they often played cards. She cherished time spent with her family, her grandson and her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lincoln Park at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit Wednesday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38501 and/or the American Cancer Society N.J. Division Inc., Bergen County Unit, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, N.J. 07601 would be appreciated.
