Obituary of Rocco Masella

Masella, Rocco age 90 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on September 1, 2017. Beloved husband of sixty seven years of the former Anna Iuliani of Paterson. Loving Father of Joanna Guarneri and her husband Antonino of Wayne and Peter J. Masella of Boonton. Dear grandfather of Christina Alicia Incorvaia and her husband Emanuele of Wayne and Carmelo Anthony Guarneri of Wayne. Adoring great grandfather of Ella Nicole Incorvaia. Brother of Maria Grazia Masella of Canada. Rocco was pre deceased by two brothers and four sisters. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Cerreto Sannita, Prov. di Benevento, Italy, he came to the U.S.A. in 1951 settling in Paterson. He was a Machine Operator for Foam Line Fiberloc, Inc., Paterson for many years. After that, he was the Custodian for St. James R.C. Church, Totowa before retiring in 2007. Mr. Masella was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed tending to his vegetables. He cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren and often told many family stories. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
