Obituary of Claude J Kranik

Kranik, Claude J. age 88 at rest in Wayne on August 31, 2017. Claude is preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Kranik. Beloved husband of Paulette Kranik of Wanaque. Loving father of Claude Edward Kranik & his wife Donna of Washington State and Caren Elizabeth Hric & her husband Jon of Washington, NJ. Step father of Donna Marie Furrey of Hewitt and Faith Ann Webb & her husband David of Clifton. Devoted grandfather of Claire, Clayton, Jonathan, Jesse, Victoria, Stephanie & her husband Adam, and Katlyn. Caring great grandfather of Aiden, Mason, and Owen. Dear brother of Ruth Steer & her husband, Terry of Ohio and Robert Kranik & his wife Kate of Pennsylvania. Born in Passaic, he lived in Totowa for 56 years before recently moving to Wanaque. He was the owner of EmJay Maintenance, Secaucus before retiring in 1980. Claude was a 60 year member of the Totowa Fire Department, Lincoln Fire House. He was a 35 year member of the Totowa First Aid Squad and received the Russ Berry Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service. He was a servant who could serve any way he could and was recognized for donating blood. Claude was a former member of Hope Reformed Church and a current member of the Pompton Reformed Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at the Pompton Reformed Church, 59 Hamburg Turnpike, Pompton Lakes, on Saturday at 2:00 PM. Entombment was private.
