Dear Matt, Justin and families - I remember you two from Pumpkin Patch days when your mom and dad brought you in to Ms. Anna - Anna Arlington. Your dad was a great inspiration to me as a dedicated public servant - especially to the Totowa First Aid Squad. I trust he was equally inspirational to you and that you will follow in his footsteps in some significant way. I am sorry for your loss and that fact that he will miss watching his grandchildren grow up. That is one of the joys of growing old or older. Keep his memory alive for your families and know that he was loved by many and left you a great legacy in the name Barbieri as did your grandfather and other members of your large distinguished but humble family.

I want to express to you, Bob's children & grandchildren, my deepest sympathy over Bob's passing. His parents were my godparents, and I recall their sense of commitment to community service which no doubt Bob definitely picked up, and then passed on to you all. I have nothing but fond memories of "Little Bobby" from
my time as a kid (6 yrs. his senior) up to the present, though my move up to Connecticut after college limited our face to face contact.
I wish you strength and courage during this time.

I had the honor to serve with Bob and his father on the Totowa First Aid squad. I met Bob when he was a youth member and many years as a regular member. This is very sad news, Bob was a outstanding member of the first aid squad and a good friend many years ago. May God bless Bob and his family. Totowa has lost a wonderful patriot.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences. May you find comfort in warm memories. And the coming promises from the Bible.
Such as Revelation 21 : 3,4 " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say :' Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. ' "
