Just learned of Dave's passing my condolences to his family. Dave and I knew each other in our teens and 20s. Met through our brothers who were also friends with each other, both musicians both named Vince. Dave was a great guy and talented audio tech.

I cannot attend the service, so I am relaying my feelings here. I am so deeply saddened by Dave's passing.
Dave was one of the most amazing, intelligent, generous and helpful people I have ever met in my life.
He always taught me something and always made me laugh. I learned so much from him, and he was a mentor to me, I don’t know if he ever knew the full impact he made upon my life. Dave was one of my heroes. There is nobody like him anywhere else on earth.
I had not seen him in years, and always wanted to stop by again, but now have deep regret that I did not.
Life is short. I miss him dearly. Dave, please rest in peace.
To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was so special, let's keep his memory close to our hearts and never forget what he contributed to our lives.
May peace be with you.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your father. David and Vincent were related to me through marriage. Their mother, Antoinette Leogrande was the sister of my uncle, through marriage, Vito Joseph Leogrande. Uncle Joe was married to my father's sister, also Antoinette (Nettie). My family would see the Simonetti's usually on New Years Day, when the families would celebrate the holiday at Uncle Joe's and Aunt Nettie's house. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.
