Obituary of Guenter Sgorzelski

Sgorzelski, Guenter age 88 of Parsippany at rest in Parsippany on March 28, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Meta (nee Dingler) Sgorzelski. Loving father of Ingrid Patois of Parsippany and Petra Glebocki Sgorzelski of PA. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Born in Breslau Wroclaw, Poland, he came to the United States in 1960 and has been recently living in Parsippany. He was a self-employed Carpenter for many years before retiring. Mr. Sgorzelski was a lifetime and active member of the Carlstadt Turnverein, which is a community mixed chorus celebrating German American Heritage. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday from 10-12 noon at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa. Cremation is private at the request of the family.
