Battimelli, Pietro age 79 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on March 18, 2017. Beloved husband of Caterina (nee DeMatteo) Battimelli of Paterson. Loving father of Lia Calix and her husband Vinnie of Fairfield and Massimo Battimelli and his wife Mary of Belleville. Brother of Olympia Russo and her husband Giuseppe of Paterson, Nina Nativo of Paterson and Gina Zummo and her husband John of Woodland Park. Grandfather of Daniel, Giuliana and Alexis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law in Italy. Born in San Antonio Abate, Naples, Italy, he came to the United States in 1963 and resided in Paterson. He was a Self Employed Photographer for many years. He was a parishioner of St. Michaels R.C. Church, Paterson and St. Gerards R.C. Church, Paterson. He was a longtime member of the Roma Club, Paterson. Mr. Battimelli was very active in the community. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Michael's R.C.
