Obituary of Manuel Vargas Cabrera

Vargas Cabrera, Manuel "Neco" age 87 of Paterson and Puerto Rico at rest in Lincoln Park on March 14, 2017. Beloved father of Manuel Vargas and his wife Annemarie of Maywood, Margie Suter and her husband Greg of Lincoln Park, Ed Vargas and his wife Diana of Marlton, Edwin Vargas of Paterson and Giselle Bousquet of Woodland Park. Loving grandfather of Danielle Vargas, Alex Vargas, Vincent Vargas, Emily Vargas, Bryton Suter, Logan Suter, Nicole Vargas, Karen Mesa, Viviana Garcia, Trevin Bousquet, Garett Bousquet and Cameron Bousquet. Dear brother of Steve Esteban Vargas and Raymond Vargas. Great grandfather of Donato Calamusa and Katey Bolivar. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico, he lived most of his life in Puerto Rico. He was a Chef for New Bridge Inn, New Milford, for many years before retiring. Mr. Cabrera was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 7:40 PM. Friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM.
