Obituary of Lidia A Barone

Barone, Lidia A. (nee Bilotto), age 86 of West Paterson and Totowa at rest in Lincoln Park on February 1, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Domenico Barone (2013). Loving Mother of Maria Barone of Wayne, Olga Barone-Allan and her husband Peter of East Windsor, Frank Barone and his wife Mercedes of Passaic and Clelia Pergola and her husband Brandon of Wayne. Great Grandmother of Dante Domenico Pergola and Gino Angelo Pergola. Sister of Emma Juillard of France, Ersilia Bilotto of Italy and Samuele Bilotto, Luigi Bilotto and Aldo Bilotto, all of Italy. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Marano Principato, Prov. di Cosenza, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1960 settling in Paterson before moving to West Paterson and Totowa. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Barone enjoyed her garden. She was a wonderful cook, who used ingredients from her garden. Her door was open to everyone. She enjoyed watching soap operas. She enjoyed visiting the villa in Italy that her husband built. She enjoyed knitting. She loved listening to music, and was a devoted Catholic. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Friends may arrive at 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
