Obituary of Bette Bracigliano

Bracigliano, Bette (nee Grossi) age 92 of Riverdale at rest in Wayne on January 30, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Sam Bracigliano (1985). Loving mother of Leanne Pellegrino and her husband Jules of Haledon, and Christine Weiss and her husband William of Riverdale. Sister of James Grossi, Rose Fernandez, Mae Pepe, and the late Louis Grossi, Thomas Grossi and Emmy Grossi. Dear grandmother of Julianne and her husband John, Frank and his wife Denise, Kimberlee and her husband Joseph, Anthony and his wife Debbie, Dominic and his wife Renee, Carmen and his wife Michele, Leanne, Marybeth, and Samantha. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived most of her life in Haledon. She was a Supervisor for the United States Post Office, Wayne, for 15 years before retiring in 1980. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park and a member of their Rosary Society. She was a turbo engine inspector for Curtiss-Wright Woodridge. She was an original "Rosie the Riveter". Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
