Pirolo family, my prayers and condolences...I have many fond memories of your mom~she was a beautiful, gentle, happy woman...I always felt SO welcome in your home when I was a child. Through the years I would pass by your home and say hello (she would be outside watering flowers or just coming into her driveway) Anyway, I would think of her from time to time and was surprised that I just came across her name this morning. You are all in my thoughts and I pray that your mom is resting peacefully.

I am shocked to read of the passing of your mom. I just ran into her a couple of weeks ago, and she caught me up on the family. I had no idea that she passed. I happened on the site to look for the services of a friend that I just heard had passed. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Mom was so proud of all of you. She spoke about her grand children and all of her "kids" and their present locations. We talked of the old days and Totowa. We blocked the isle for some time. It was always great bumping into each other. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Joan. She was a wonderful person. I knew her through many volunteers projects at Holy Angels. We originally met when she cooked dinners for the IHN/Family Promise, cooking dinners for our homeless families. Her cooking was fantastic. She also made amazing spinach pies for our Thanksgiving dinner which were loved by everyone. Thank you to her family and friends for sharing this wonderful person with us. I will miss seeing her at the 7:30 a.m. mass on Sundays.

My dearest friend Joan, Our friendship of over fifty years has meant the world to me. We shared all of our important times with each other. Births of children, happy holidays, weekly times together. Sad times too. So many memories we made.
Tommy, Billy, Jenny and your families -- Joan shared so much of you with me. I loved hearing about you through out the years. I will miss our frequent calls with all the families' news.
Take care of each other. I know you will. Love, Aunt Sue

Dear Tommy, Billy, Jenny and family so sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. I have many great memories of her back to our St. James days. She was a vibrant, enthusiastic lady full of fun and good humor. You and your children were her pride and joy. She was a wonderful companion and caretaker for your grandmother. May she reap her reward in heaven for all the good she did on earth for so many. Rest In Peace Joan.

Words are not enough to even begin to express how much your mom has meant to us. We have such special memories of her, especially little things like her infectious laugh, the way she would put her head down to look at you over her glasses, her talking about her grand-kids, her fantastic cooking, and so much more. She has left an imprint on our hearts forever... one of the kindest people we have ever known, we will miss her greatly.
