Del Vecchio, Robert U., age 79 of Hawthorne at rest in Hawthorne on December 4, 2016. Beloved husband of Angela (nee Tesauro) Del Vecchio. Loving father of Robert and his wife Barbara, Carla and her husband Michael and Marc and his wife Kim. Dear grandfather of Justine, Brendan, Marissa and Rachel. Brother of Pacifico and his wife Mary and Anna Marie. Also survived by a niece and many nephews. Born in Telese, Italy, he came to the United States in 1954 and lived in Paterson before moving to Hawthorne. He was a self-employed Real Estate Investor in Hawthorne for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 3-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Valley Health Care Hospice, 15 Essex Road, Suite 301, Paramus, NJ 07652 and/or St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
