Mones, Higinio age 81 of Paterson at rest in Park Ridge on November 15, 2016. Beloved husband of the former Estelvina Perez of Paterson. Loving Father of Jesus H. Mones and his wife Araceli of Waldwick. Adoring grandfather of Jarod Mones and Isabella Mones. Dear brother of Candida Mones of Miami, FL. Born in Cuba, he came to the U.S.A. in 1974 settling in Paterson. He was Owner/Proprietor and Baker for La Borinquena Bakery, Paterson for many years. Mr. Mones was an avid fisherman. He sponsored baseball and softball teams in Paterson. He adored his grandchildren. Cremation was private at the request of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6-7 PM. There will be a funeral service commencing at 6:30 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to St. John;s Cathedral, 381 Grand Street, Paterson, N.J. 07505.
