Obituary of Luigi Cicerchia

Cicerchia, Luigi age 98 of Waldwick at rest in Waldwick on June 13, 2016. Beloved husband of the former Vincenza Perrupato of Waldwick. Loving Father of Catherine Modugno & her husband, Biagio of Hohokus, Theresa Danza & her husband, Michael of Upper Saddle River, Raphael Cicerchia of Florida, and Anthony Cicerchia & his late wife, Theresa Angotti (2015) of North Haledon. Survivors include 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Born in Brienza, Italy, he immigrated to the USA in 1955 residing in Chicago then to Paterson, where he lived in the greater Paterson area for most of his life before moving to Waldwick 4 years ago. He was a Laborer for Local #239, Paterson for most of his life before retiring in 1975. Mr. Cicerchia belonged to various Italian American Clubs, and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Michael's R.C. Church, Paterson. He also loved playing bocci with his friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Michael's R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 2:00-8:00 PM.
