Gareau, Helen C. (nee Ricucci), age 98 of Berlin, NJ at rest in Berlin, on February 2, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Gerard D. Gareau. Loving mother of Richard Gareau and his wife Loretta of Newark, DE and the late Gerard Gareau, Jr. and Raymond Gareau. Mother-in-law of Louise Gareau of Atco, NJ, surviving spouse of Raymond and Patricia Gareau of Tabernacle, NJ, surviving spouse of Gerard, Jr. Loving grandmother of Jason and his wife Amy, Gerry and his wife Danielle, Danielle and her husband Ben, Renee and her husband Darrin, Desiree, and Rachael and her husband Sean. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life, then Clifton and Southampton before moving to Berlin 5 years ago. She was a Homemaker. Helen was a secretary for The Girl Scouts of America, NYC. Later she did advertising sales for The Beacon Catholic Newspaper. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Philip the Apostle R.C.
