Obituary of Frances De Prospo

De Prospo, Frances (nee Sacco) age 88 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on January 10, 2016. Beloved wife of the late John C. De Prospo (2001). Loving mother of John R. De Prospo of Totowa. Dear Grandmother of Kate Marych and her husband Bill of Baltimore, MD. and Michael De Prospo of Astoria, Queens, N.Y. Sister of Emma Del Sardo of Totowa, Steven Sacco of Totowa and the late Mary Imbaratto (2015) and the late Domenica Sacco (2008). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Reggio, Prov. di Calabria, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1929 settling in Paterson before moving to Totowa over forty years ago. She was an Administrative Assistant retiring in 1988. Mrs. De Prospo was a Parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. She was also a member of the Totowa Seniors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
