Obituary of Alba Barone

Barone, Alba, (nee Mastrobouni), age 88 of Paterson at rest in Ridgewood on November 13, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy Barone (2007). Loving Mother of Anna Barone of Saddle Brook and Benjamin Barone of Hopatcong. Dear Grandmother of Christy Barone of Clifton and the late Benjamin Barone Jr. (1978). Alba was pre deceased by nine sisters. Also surviving are four sisters living in Italy, many nieces and nephews and her beloved pet dog, Lu Lu. Born in Cerrato, Prov di Napoli, she came to the U.S.A. in 1949 settling in Paterson. She was a Machine Operator for Arcadia Fashions, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. Mrs. Barone was a best friend to her family. She was a strong person and a wonderful cook. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Sunday at 5:30 PM. Cremation will be private at the request of the family. Relatives and friends may visit Sunday 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
