Sopuch, Helen (nee Bankos), age 90 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on November 3, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Leo Sopuch (2012). Loving mother of Leo Sopuch and his wife Gail of Wayne, Robert Sopuch and his wife Jacqueline of Oakland, and the late James Sopuch (2015). Dear grandmother of James, Christopher and Carly Sopuch. Sister of the late John and Henry Bankos, Ann Hlywa, and Betty Wackerling. Helen is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Lincoln Park, she lived in Paterson for most of her life, then living in Florida for thirty years before finally moving to Wayne three years ago. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Sopuch was an avid reader. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing. She will be greatly missed by her children and family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Saturday at 9:45 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. Marys R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes, at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM.
