Obituary of Dorothy H Kauffman

Kauffman, Dorothy H. (nee Kienle) age 86 of Totowa at rest in Passaic on September 27, 2015. Beloved wife of the late John W. Kauffman (2009). Loving mother of Carol S. Mc Grath and her husband Kevin of Totowa, Ellen L. Arlauskas and her husband Michael of Butler, Diane Lopez-Diaz and her husband Fernando of Long Boat Key, FL, Robert W. Kauffman and his wife Rosemary of Lords Valley, PA., and the late Susan Bochicco (2010). Mother in law of Joseph Bochicco of Raleigh, NC. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Born in Newark, she lived in Totowa since 1954. She was the director of Nursing for Emerson Convalescent Center, Emerson, NJ for 20 years before retiring. Prior to that, she was the director of nursing for the Daughters of Miriam, Clifton. Mrs. Kauffman was a member Bethany Church, Wyckoff, and worked at their food pantry, and was a member of their seniors club. She loved to travel, and was very devoted to her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
