Affinito, Antoinette E. (nee Malizia) age 94 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on July 30, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Joseph "Pete" Affinito (2007). Loving mother of Joseph Affinito and his wife Christine of Clifton, and Peter D. Affinito and his wife Christina of Clifton. Adoring grandmother of Joseph Damon Affinito and his wife Cindie, Karen Affinito-Greco, and PJ and David Affinito. Great-Grandmother of Mary and Angela Affinito. Dear daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Maria (nee D'Argenio) Malizia. Beloved sister of Vera Docherty of Glen Rock, and Gloria D'Arnese of Wayne. Antoinette is predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters and she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for her entire life. She worked as a Beautician starting in 1936 before retiring in 1970. She was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church and a member of its Seniors Club. She was a member of the Riverside Vets Ladies Auxiliary, Paterson. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Choir and a member of the American Cancer Society, Passaic County, NJ. She was most known for her cooking and her crafts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson at 10:30 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may visit Sunday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
