Elaine, we are sorry for your loss. Ray and I go back to when he was a Passaic County Park Police officer and I was in West Paterson. We then came together again in Wayne and as you know, we completed our careers very successfully. We did our job, had fun and set the standard for future generations of police officers in Wayne. I will always remember Ray’s quick thinking and unforgettable smile. I also remember the relationship and love he had for his son. Rest in peace my friend Ray. Walter and Lillian Suhaka

Elaine, It is with the deepest sadness that Pat & I offer our condolences to you and your family. Bob's relationship with Ray goes back to their Don Bosco days and from his relationship with Ray Sr where Bob served as a police officer, and subsequently as a Special Agent with the USSS. That relationship continued even into the private sector.
We will keep you and your family in our daily prayers and especially during these challenging days and weeks ahead. It seems that as I get older, I seem to recall the most distant of my life experiences. In years past when asked to name a non-family member that I admired. Ray's name would immediately come to mind. Conversations generally started with his infectious smile and thoughtfulness. He provided not only for his family, but also for the community he loved. His life exemplified a strong character and this was truly respected by his peers. Sincerely, Francis (Bob) & Patricia Murphy, USSS Retired (Sarasota, Fl.)
