Obituary of Anna M. Ashby

Ashby, Anna M. (nee Goffredo), age 85 of Wayne at rest in Paterson on April 8, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Ashby (2012). Loving mother of Theodore Ashby and his wife Ann of Pompton Lakes, Tena Elman of North Haledon, and Eve Ashby and her husband Richard Stewart of Beaufort, SC. Dear sister of Anthony, William, Lawrence, Joseph and Cosmo Goffredo, Rita Schweighart and the late Tina Cantisano, Rose Krouch, and John, Carmen, Donald, Vincent and Orazio Goffredo. Also survived by six grandchildren. Born in Paterson, she lived most of her life in Paterson. She worked for the Diocese of Paterson, under Rev. Fr. Clem Cardillo, before retiring. Mrs. Ashby was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Paterson for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C.
