Obituary of Dominic A. Stamato

Stamato, Dominic A. age 91 of Wantage at rest in Newton on February 6, 2015. Beloved husband of the late and former Theresa De Lorenzo (2001). Loving father of Barbara J. Verlardi and her husband, Lou of Wantage and the late Robert Stamato. Dear son of the late Frank and Anna (nee Girardi) Stamato. Brother of the late Frank Stamato and Barbara Dinielli. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Jersey City before moving to West Paterson in 1970 and then Wantage in 1996. He was a Quality control Inspector for Wave Line Corp., Fairfield before retiring. Prior to that, he was employed at Airco & Otis Elevator. Mr. Stamato served in the Merchant Marines in the early 1940's. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday from 9-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Karen Ann Quinlan Charitable Foundation, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860 would be appreciated.
