Billups, Dorothy C. (nee Cort) age 82 of Toms River at rest in Toms River on January 22, 2015. Loving mother of Richard Billups and his wife, Louann, Jeffrey Billups and Michael Billups and his wife, Susan. Dear daughter of the late Elliot and Lena Caroline (nee Collins) Cort. Cherished grandmother of Dana, Matthew, Christopher, James, Samantha and Colin. Caring great-grandmother of Tyler. Long time friend of Marilyn Adelman. Sister of Roger Cort and the late David Cort. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Pompton Lakes for most of her life before moving to Toms River seventeen years ago. She was a Registered Nurse for Chilton Hospital, Pequannock and worked there as a Pharmacy I.V. Technician. Dorothy was involved with the activities and recreations department in Llanfair House Care & Rehabilitation Center, Wayne before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or Susan B. Komen would be appreciated.
