McAlister, Gaynelle (nee Addleton), age 87 of Whiting at rest in Manchester Township on December 20, 2014. Beloved wife of William J. McAlister of Whiting. Loving mother of Sherry Rizzo of Budd Lake. Dear grandmother of Christina Goldberg and her husband Jason and their son Christopher, Jennifer Gulledge and her husband Jim and Anthony Rizzo and his wife Elissa and their children, James, Joshua, and Jeremy. Born in Macon, GA, she lived in Georgia until she was 19, then lived in Paterson for most of her life, before moving to Whiting 19 years ago. She was an Employee of Jacobs Department Store, Paterson for 10 years , before retiring in the 1980's. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Tuesday at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 PM.
