Obituary of Ralph Barbieri

Barbieri, Ralph age 88 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on December 12, 2014. Beloved husband of the late and former Joanne Bertani (2007). Loving Father of Rosemarie P. Izzi and her husband Louis of Verona, Pia Ciuppa and her husband Joseph of Wayne, Anthony Barbieri and his wife Sharon of Pompton Lakes and the late Ralph Barbieri Jr. (2002). Dear grandfather of Christopher Ciuppa and his wife Colleen and Lauren Ciuppa. Uncle of Francine Giaquinto of Paterson and Michelle De Angelo of Hawthorne. Born in Bayonne, he lived in Paterson and West Paterson for most of his life. He then lived in Toms River for twenty five years before moving to Wayne seven years ago. Mr. Barbieri was a WWII Army Veteran and served in Italy. He was an avid fan of cars and loved to work on them. He was an avid N.Y. Yankee and N.Y. Giant fan as well as a Fisherman. Mr. Barbieri loved spending time with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4-8 PM.
