I was doing a family research on my late Mothers side and came across Mr Hayden's information. In his obituary it is stated that Marcella was his first wife. That is erroneous information. My Mother was married to him in approximately 1956. I have their wedding album. I can understand not mentioning my mother as his first wife..but Joanne was his third wife. I found out he and my mom had been married after she died and I came across their wedding album. My cousin was a young girl and the only living relative I knew from the pictures, She informed me who Mr Hayden was. I got in contact with Mr Hayden and he spoke with me for about an hour, answering , my questions. He was very nice about it. If you don't believe me you can call me at my shop (I own Madelines Bridal] 575-887-0333 or madelinesbridal@yahoo.com I will be more than happy to did the album out of storage...

We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.
It broke our ❤s to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For a part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories.
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
Your always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again....
My sympathy and condolences go out to my family and all my grandpa's friends n ex coworkers..... I love you soooo much grandpa, May you Rest In Peace and reunite with grandma.... Gone but never forgotten
LOVE ALWAYS YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER N FAMILY

Don was one of the best people I have ever known. He always led by example and put other people before himself. I learned a lot from Don and I will miss him very much. I want to thank him for being so good to my sister and caring for her so much. Above all, I was proud to call him brother-in-law.
Love,
Marygrace

Dear Hayden Family:
It is with sadness that I send my sincere condolences on the loss of Don. I've known and been a friend since 1965 and served with him on the Paterson Police Department. Don was a consumate professional and had a true calling as a law enforcement officer. He had a distinguished career and served the public with honesty and integrity; always willing to assist others. He never shirked his duties and always showed his pride in being a member of both the Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
Your loss is all of our loss. May he rest in eternal peace.
Sincerely,
Jim Buckley

No words can describe what a wonderful man Don was to all the people that crossed his path in life. As I child I grew up always wanting to be a Police Officer he never discouraged me that I was a girl or that I could not accomplish goals I set for myself. Don was a very positive and helpful man who shinned light with his radiant smile and laugh. I have been a member of Local 265 for 19 years at the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, and very prud as he was to serve here. Don will be missed by alot of us and I pray he rests in peace.
Love Always,
Angela Francine Sigismondi

My sincere condolences to Don's family. Don was friends with my Dad and I had the privilege and pleasure to work with Don at the Prosecutors Office. He was a great detective and he brought laughter to the office. They were good times which I will remember fondly. I am unable to pay my respects personally as I'm currently traveling in England.
