Tahan, Sarah D. (nee Roberts) age 59 of Rockaway Twsp., at rest in Rockaway on August 20, 2014. Beloved wife of thirty one years of Raymond B. Tahan of Rockaway. Loving mother of Tracey Chiurazzi and her husband Andrew of Waldwick, Tiffany Rae Tahan of New York, N.Y. and Sarah Elizabeth Tahan of Rockaway. Dear grandmother of Johnny and Nick Chiurazzi, both of Waldwick. Dear sister of Kathy Nora Tricarico and her husband Paul of Clifton, William R. Roberts and his wife Carol of Hurley, N.Y., Horace D. Roberts and his wife Susan of Swansea, S.C., Thomas Roberts and his wife Mary of Newburgh, N.Y., Thurman Roberts and his wife Kathryn of Rockaway, Kenneth R. Roberts and his wife Marcie of Woodland Park and the late Peggy Lee Neill (2009). Sister in law of Fred Neill of Marlboro. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson before moving to Rockaway twenty seven years ago. She was a Certified Travel Consultant/Owner/Proprietor for S Tours, Rockaway, N.J. for the past fifteen years. Mrs. Tahan was a parishioner of St. Simon R.C. Church, Rockaway. She traveled the world. Nothing stopped her from her travels, not even her illness. She loved visiting New York City with her daughters, and enjoyed all it had to offer. She also enjoyed and looked forward to her annual trip to Wildwood, N.J. with her entire family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 11:00 AM. Cremation will be private. Friends and relatives may visit Sunday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
